Organic Rankings improved dramatically since removing AdSense code

In the 3-4 weeks since I've taken every since piece of AdSense off my site, my organic traffic has increased significantly. It's unlikely to be seasonality or recently algorithm changes since I've not seen either on similar industry sites that I manage. I think the increased organic traffic is a result of removing AdSense.

I would be interested in 3 and 6 month trial periods when [if] they eventuate - that would be meaningful.

If AdSense is a "problem", seems like Google should be able to make an easy fix. ... or so it seems ...

Did you remove the ads or did you replace AdSense with different ads? If they were removed, how many ads did you run? What sizes? Were they above the fold? How has removing the ads affected your bounce rates, pageviews/visitor, time on site, page speed, etc?
