So today I have a page that is getting about 3 times the number of clicks it should. High volume so its certainly not chance.

At first I thought there was a placement issue so I checked that out and didn't find anything. So I looked and realized the page had been normal (as far as CTR) until yesterday. So nothing changed as far as the page. Its just today my CTR is much higher than normal/it should be.

Would you take adsense off the page? The only reason I don't want to is I have done this before and then I forget to add it back for months.

Are you getting more page views as well?

Have you examined your site logs to see if there is a pattern?

eeek: Its hard to tell. The page was recently picked up somewhere so there are more page views but that is expected.

tangor: Unfortunately my host for this site doesn't provide access to site logs which is pretty annoying. This almost makes me want to change hosts expect for the fact that its very very fast hosting for a pretty reasonable price.

Holy crap if I didn't get access to my site logs I'd be out of there in a New York minute.

Do you have Analytics, at least? Where is all the new traffic coming from?

Log access is vital to managing your site. I don't care how fast or how cost effective a host might be, if they don't offer logs I'm not their customer.

Logs will show activity that even analytics can't.

That's just one of the reasons I hate shared hosting.

its [sic] very very fast hosting for a pretty reasonable price.

Okay, how about some numbers. How fast is it and what's a reasonable price?
