Anyone have any idea whether the Adsense Optimal font setting is site wide, account wide or adsense wide?
Does anyone use it or do most people just set a font for their Adsense text ads?

I normally set my font to match my site font. AdSense optimization suggestions constantly tell me to set it to optimal. I'm not running a couple of experiments to see if it actually makes a difference. I suggest you do an experiment also to see what works for you.
You can set it to be optimal at an ad level, I'm not sure what the defaults are now for new ad units.
