March 2016 was the first sign that the things could get better, let's see April 2016.
1st of April is not very promising, with -30% revenue vs last week.

@Ebuzz, don't get me wrong, I was very happy with the $0.40 CPC, the $0.07 is very disappointing though. It's an entertainment app, so session length tends to be quite high so it presents lots of opportunities to display ads. I really hope this is temporary, but 3 weeks in, and there doesn't really seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I've been considering changing to a different ad provider, but there are so many (especially in the mobile space) and it's hard to find any current figures pertaining to what one might expect from revenue... I don't want to make it any worse.

I'm working with a company now that might very well allow me to completely replace adsense (niche relevant), atleast for all u.s. traffic - which that alone would beat my crap (worldwide) adsense earnings.

Desktop CTR suddenly back to pre-April normal again for me yesterday. Hopefully not just a blip...

Blackadder99, your arrows back as well?

I have noticed better and more relevant inventory if you have the arrows!

Maximum44, yes I can see arrows now. I'm getting more banner ads than ads with arrows, but I guess it's impossible to say which percentage of ads are served with arrows to all users.

Is it only me with no arrows in Firefox?

All my websites have arrows in every browser except in Firefox. Only Firefox is never showing arrows anymore.

Earnings are raising, looks good.

Blackadder, it seems like they are switched on or off. Per domain, not per ad unit.

Saw this article [fatstacksblog.com...] they sum it up pretty good.

Removed media ads and earnings are almost back to what I would class as acceptable! Coincidence, I do not know, would they have been back to normal had I had media ads still on (or more), I do not know. I removed them basically because every media ad I saw on my site looked spammy and unrelated whilst I was seeing the text ads were more accurate. Worth a test for anyone who has not tried.

Today is the first remotely looking "normal" day I've had in the past 2-3 months. I welcome it but let's just see if tomorrow carries in the same direction....because if history shows me anything, it will be back to garbage tomorrow.

My media ads show Google ads. so it is a three-way share. Google, Media, and crumbs for the publisher.

I dare say I've also seen an increase in Adsense earnings the last two days - getting closer to what use to be "normal". Good sign heading into summer.

I spoke too soon, today looks on track to be absolutely horrible. The joys of working with Adsense, on and off like a tap.

Same here, the past couple days almost were normal and now today back to dismal RPM. Amazing how we all kinda see the same thing. Adsense conspiracy?

A conspiracy we cannot prove, I still opt for pre-determined earnings but am bored talking about Adsense now :D:D It drains me, £20 a day on a couple of sites down to pounds on all, all happens in month of March, what a joke, please Google enlighten us with what happened, this is not seasonal sites either, funny how it happens to a lot of people. You want to know the best part, all the big name companies I would expect to see on my ads are still on their, how messed up is that! And this mad yo-yo effect, kinda getting good, total crap for days, kinda getting good, this has never happened throughout my whole Adsense history. Years upon years where it's pretty much steady, you can predict what you will earn each day easily. We work to make Google revenue, why are they not open with the people who try to make them revenue.

Another thing that makes sense to me is that Google has mastered the art of sending everyone junk traffic and retaining all the good traffic that they think will convert. Makes sense, think about it, nobody is complaining about traffic dropping, this keeps everyone sort of happy, but lots of people are seeing a massive drop in adsense and affiliate sales, this can only be a result of poor junk traffic.

Like I keep saying, I cannot work AdSense out. I had 53 clicks which earned me almost exactly £8 yesterday. However, I think it was last week I had 53 clicks and it was just over £5. They are paying almost nothing for most ads nowadays. I think you are probably best off sticking with non-responsive units as they seem to pay the best. I have a 160 x 600 skyscraper unit which I have recently put back in the left-hand column above the menu. That normally does anywhere between 30p and £1 per click, every click seems to differ.

I've also got media.net and yes I do see Google ads occasionally displaying in their place, and also spammey looking rectangles where there should be a 600 x 250 unit, that really does hack me off when I see this. If I choose to have a 600 x 250 ad unit at the bottom of my content then that is exactly what I want, I don't want some stupid horrible looking 300 x 250 ad unit in its place, it's ridiculous when that happens. Media.net is a little bit like AdSense in the old days, it seems to be improving slowly. I certainly wouldn't remove it, I think my next payment will be around $133 which tops up my AdSense nicely. I think I'm already up to $84 already and that doesn't include yesterday, so this month could be even better than last month on media.net.

Arrows are gone again!
Better CPC, but terrible CTR => terrible revenue.

Just diabolical today. I have never seen Adsense CTR/EPC/RPM performing so poorly, not even on Christmas Days. Had 10,000 PVs in the first hour and earned scarcely enough for a coffee and donut. Things have improved since then, but only just.

I have 36 cents in my account right now for today. It's past midday. To be fair, I've been going in and blowing up my ad review center so I'm not surprised right now. However, it's quite comical at this point.

After just seeing what took place overnight, I am 100% convinced our Earning are being capped / or kept within set parameters!

I finally saw a huge increase in RPM due to higher CPC and better CTR, and had already nearly reached a half a day's earnings in the first hour.

Then when I had a look this morning, the RPM( due to CPC and CTR) have totally crashed again.

From looking at a possible record days earnings ( all time) to now looking like the same very low earnings which have been stuck since the beginning of 2016.

I was heading towards a day's earnings within the first few hours, yet, now it looks like I may even get lower earnings than the dismal average earnings that have continued since January / 1st / 2016

Never seen anything even remotely like this happening in all my time with websites and YouTube Channels

Hello ! This month I observed that my High-end mobile devices's page views aren't the real from Google Analytics. These are at 1% from real ones. I verified from all kind of smartphones and my google ads are there, moreover CPC, CTR, RPM are pretty normal. It is possible to be a problem from the google adsense account with the counting of the page views or is anyone confronting the same problem right now?

I hope this is just temporary. Earnings really down. It's shocking how low it is. Just unbelievable.

Today was an all time low even by Google's standards recently. $1.45 AUD. A CPC of $0.05 AUD (equivalent to $0.04 USD). Unbelievable.

Last two days have picked up quite a bit for me. I don't know if anybody on here has an account with the eBay Partner network? You may want to think about joining if you haven't already, especially if your particular niche enables you to link to products on eBay. I think I'm up to £63 earnings already this month on the eBay Partner network. I've had one sale which earned me £28, and another one which earned me £15, with lots of others in the smaller amounts, anything from 25p, up to £3. I'm also with media.net and are probably be just over $90 today, so all in all it's not going to be a bad month I think

It's past mid day and I have 75 cents. I can't confirm how my removal of many many many ads in the review center is affecting things, but it must be very major. I run English sites with 90% North American audience. I swear 80% of the ads I'm blocking are German. I would suggest < 20%, maybe 10% are English. I've been going at this for a few days now and will continue for the next week. If I cannot turn my ads into English via this method, then I truly have run out of options. That said, an email to support will be in order. Something like, "My sites are all English, my audience is 90% North American, so why are 90% of my ads non English and is there anything I can do about it". I would be curious if anyone else has peeked into the ad review center lately.

I should clarify that my best days (a year+ ago) were three figures. I would average lowish two figure days, but never single digit. To see not even a one figure at mid day is just so funny to me. Even prior to my ad review blocking, I have started bringing in low single digit days. I'm saying that I haven't been a bottom feeder doing this so don't dismiss my 75 cents report or my low single digit earnings lately. I was never a hero at this, but it certainly made running sites worthwhile.

Had arrows back for a few days - not sure if it had anything to do with limiting ad units to 2 on a page or not.

They have just dropped off again - and im seeing the familiar unrelated adverts again.
