Since they started sending out 2 payments per month to us high earners, keeping track seems boring.

Just kidding.
Hope that made you smile instead of scream :)

Wait until they don't send your payment until April 1st :-)

I have never watched it that closely, except when there is an unusual delay.

Honestly I only pay attention in July and August.

So THAT'S why someone invented April Fool's Day. AHA!

I have to admit I completely forgot about it!
How does one forget about this? It's on the same day every month, plus it's your income.

No, it's my incremental income. I somehow managed to semi-retire and acquired more client business than ever.

And there I was thinking I was the only one doing it wrong!
In the middle of last year I decided to cut back on my volume of realworld business and solely concentrate on my top dozen customers part time ... holy moly I wish I hadn't said a thing, I've been inundated ever since. I'm not going to say anything to anyone from now on :-)

Of course, any one who says otherwise is kidding or om a very low Adsense income.
For certain, whatever happens in my bank account (and lots does!) I do not forget, or even put to one side, my Adsense payment.

RedBar: I have to admit I completely forgot about it!
I have to admit, I completely stopped caring. In my case faced times where "PIP" message was there for too long without being actually effective. Most times is fast (24 hours) but sometimes it was too slow, and let's not forget how the earnings went down.

Reading this thread makes me remember the good ole' days, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and AdSense sent out payments by paper checks.
Anyone remember things from way back then? I believe it was the snail mail pony express that delivered those ink on paper checks to your snail mail box.

@farmboy, sure I do remember. Bank deposit/transfer is not available in my country, so for years received the payments via paper-check until someone forged things up, talked to Google and they confirmed, offered (promised help) but suddenly the people in charge disappeared and did nothing while their offering was written. Since then I use WU.
It didn't take long for me to receive the checks (diff snail pony express than yours). It was different, some users battled on posting the PIP thread of the month, discussions were fun, not so negative as in low meanings or tricky incomprehensible stuff on what's happening. Not only it was fun, there were cases of confessed anxiety checking stats every day (I was one for some months), it sucked. Then started to care less until I just forgot. I sometimes check to see effects of experiments.

Better yet, remember the "UPS" club, where if you were a $10,000/month or more earner they would UPS the check to you instead of snail mailing it.
I recall getting a paper check in the mail and inside the envelope was also another person's check.
I just put the other guy's check, put it in an envelope, put a stamp on it and off it went to make someone happy. I wish I knew who he was, I think we lived in the same state.
Remember the "UPS" club?
Ah yes. Memories.
I remember wondering whether this company called "Google" would ever do well enough to hang around.
