Ok, So I have two new websites I have created and I was going to install AdSense on them. I have a gmail account personally and I must have had added the sites to that email account when I really wanted to create a whole new one. So I deactivated the account linked to my personal email and made a new one and registered the sites. I used word press for both of my sites. I installed the Google AdSense plug in and it said it could not verify owner ship. And I am also getting an email back from Google AdSense that saying the site is still registered to my old AdSense account. So I am stuck and need a lot of help out of this situation. Any insight would be appreciated

You'll probably need to start over with your new AdSense account, make new ads, verify your sites in Google Search Console. There might be an issue because strictly speaking doesn't allow you to have multiple AdSense accounts, so your new one should probably be under a company name instead of your name. None of this is guaranteed to work, but you can try it. Unfortunately there's not much in the way of support when you're just getting started - you could try the AdSense Support forum and see if you can get the attention of a Top Contributor. But we don't really have anyone here who can really straighten this out for you.

I have mostly gotten it straightened out. I have narrowed down to one account. Im just having issues verifying the site with webmaster. Even when i put the the meta tag that google prvides into the google webmaster plug in on wordpress it still wont verify. It just deletes it right away. Any tips on that? Maybe the old google stuff is in the cache? Im not sure how to clear. Any advice would help.

Try picking another method of verification; there's a bunch of them. You can download a file and then FTP it up to the root of your server. You can verify if you're logged in to your Google Analytics (and the site has been added to your GA). You can verify if you're using Google Tag Manager. You can even (in some cases) verify by your domain name provider.

I don't use any Google plugins on my WordPress so I don't know how they work. Your theme might have a place where you can add scripts to the header (or if you are using an SEO plugin) and you can try doing it there.

I think I actually may have it. I placed a widget with the ad code now on my wordpress sight. I have read this is what you do while you wait for AdSense to approved your account. Does that sound right?
