Mobile anchor ads

Are you using mobile anchor ads?

Are anchor ads an effective way to monetize your mobile traffic or do they mostly lead to invalid clicks?

I ran them for a while and decided they were a disaster. Brought down the CTR on almost all my other placements and when I took them off the other placements rose again (not as far as originally, but enough to notice) YMMV, but test carefully. My problem was that I started the test and kind of forgot about it through my busiest period and I'm sure it cost me money.

Plus on anything smaller than my iPhone 6 Plus they are kind of annoying.

Same here. Ridiculously low eCPM, lowers overall CTR. Not worth it from my side.
The ads themselves are also designed in a terrible way. Instead of a sticky 320x100 we have a 320x50 with a strange top border 10-15px thick with a center element and is supposed to be there is someone wants to hide the ad by swiping down. Disabled them after a month.
