All my GA ads are asynchronous. I would like to switch them back to synchronous, but I cannot find anywhere to do so. Can it still be done?

You could try taking the "async" attribute out of the ad code.
<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

...becomes...
<script src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

But why would you want to?

Asynch ads are not your problem, Linda.

As soon as I made all my ads asynchronous, the ads became very untargeted.

Why do you say that?

I got the impression her issue was traffic. I have many many sites, some which earn pretty well and some which earn pennies, and across the board, switching from synch to asynch made NO difference in earning - just in load time. Nor have I seen any difference in the ads that shown - it's just the code that serves them that is different.

Yes, my real issue is traffic.
