I currently have a development team creating a new responsive website for me, as my current site is desktop only.
I work with several ad networks and Google is the only one with responsive ad tags.
So in constructing our new site, I told the developers that I need separate ad slots for my mobile ad codes.
Our desktop site will be very wide so obviously half the site vanishes even on a tablet.
And in vanishing, so do various tables containing ad code.
Maybe I am misunderstanding something I read on Adsense policies about "no display"
But, I ordered my developers to create the site in a way where once the responsive site gets down to a mobile version - the tables containing the "standard desktop tags" are removed and then replaced with tables containing the "standard mobile tags". Too many of my friends are having issued with Adsense's responsive units, so I want to use standard tags. (plus none of my other networks even have responsive ad units).
I have to confirm with my developers on their exact method to achieve this, but by switching out tables from coming up for mobile screens (with tags contained in the table), am I in violation of something? These are actual ad slots that can be turned on and off from the backend. I'm only trying to show the proper ads to mobile users.
