Text Ad vs. Image/Rich Media

Over the weekend the distribution of my ad units changed from 80% text and 20% Image/Rich to 60% text and 40% Image/Rich. My traffic sources did not change and the volume did not change. Has this happened to anyone? Does this have any meaning?

Could be anything, could be nothing. I tend to start getting a lot more image ads this time of year because that's when the visitors bureaus start putting out their image ads for summer travel. Other niches maybe have their own seasonal differences. Or it could be more interest based or remarketing ads.

Whenever I get clicks from Image/Rich the values are always much, much higher, in some cases 20X higher however regularly 5X. Normally you can only work this out on low volume niche sites of which I have several.

Original Poster: Was the issue resolved or did this become the new norm for you? We've noticed the same issue on our site and are trying to see if there is anything we can do.
