Seasonally of Adsense & Affect on Monthly RPM

What a chart of monthly Adsense earnings would look like

Before I ask this, I realize that the data would vary based on each niche. But which months, year after year, are the best for Adsense overall? I guess it would be December due to the Xmas holidays. Which months are generally the worst? Summer months? Perhaps when the weather is best throughout the United States, that's when earnings and RPM would drop. That's a theory. If that's true then cold weather combined with the holidays would favor November through February.

It would be great if Google came out with a monthly chart showing when publishers can expect to hit bottom and when the rebounds typically start. Again, I realize this is going to vary considerably based on the niche of each website. Surely, as a whole, the overall data exists.

It would depend on way too many things. My season is summer and New Year's Eve, always has been. B2B advertisers don't have much of a season (although they slow down some at holidays) Christmas makes a difference to some B2C, not all. Publishers really need to chart their own peaks and valleys.

Mine seems to be totally random although looking at the stats I just wish it was 2008 again.

All bets are off for me and 2015 however my worst always started after Thanksgiving running up Xmas and then people going back to work in the New Year.

In the past it always increased steadily until May/June then plateaued or reduced a bit during the traditional holiday times of July and August, September and October used to be good running up to Thanksgiving and then the cycle repeated itself.

I have no idea what to expect with AdSense this year other than it will probably be removed altogether, it's becoming pretty pointless for me and bear in mind I was once a $10K+/month publisher.

I just wish it was 2008 again.

I'm in that same boat!

After mulling it over, I think Google's quarterly revenues would be the best indicator. Although, they probably don't break out individual months in those reports. Thanks for the responses.

For me the northern hemisphere winter has always been my best period of the year over the last 18 years.

Most populous, most educated, and they don't have other distractions during winter.

Come late spring, summer, early autumn they have lots of better things to do rather than research on the internet.

Just my personal experience.
