I have just redesigned my main site to be mobile responsive. After some final testing I would like to put it live. The changes only affect the mobile version, the desktop version still looks the same, same ad placement, same ad size etc,

Whilst my mobile traffic is 50%, my adsense earnings from mobile are much less, so consequently I was happy to make the changes figuring that if there are any negative changes to my mobile adsense income, it would only affect a small percentage of my total income and the desktop income should hold steady.

However, I have concerns about the change affecting the CPC of my DESKTOP stats as highlighted in a recent thread [webmasterworld.com ]

As always with these things we generally only ever hear about the negatives in this kind of situation. I guess I'm looking for a bit of feedback about people implementing a responsive design where the desktop version was still the same and how it affected their desktop income.
