I've been checking out my adsense performance, like most people on this forum its been pretty dire for the last couple of years however I noticed a bit mismatch between click thrus, cost per click and earnings, for example for the last 30 days:

8817 clicks, 0.05 cost per click, 210.04 est earnings

does that really mean that Google estimates that over 50% of clicks are fake?

Don't you have to subtract Google's cut in order to get your net earnings?

Google gives you numbers *after* their cut.

I've had months where I was very heavily botted and a lot of the clicks were fake. Usually they are removed before the end-of-month finalization, but twice they were not. If you're eligible for email support, then I'd contact AdSense and ask. If you have a problem with your traffic, best to find out.

I found the answer, google is including youtube CPC and Click throughs but not adding the earnings into the estimated earnings field.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Ah, ok. Good to know. I don't do any YouTube stuff so was unaware.

(And also - that's messed up on Google's part)

I will admit to no longer being up to date on adsense stuff but I did look for the answer before posting. I know google warn YouTube earnings are added once per month but I was surprised they included the cpc and ctr but then not the earnings, which they know. It is messed up to have half the picture. I've recently being earning more from YouTube than adsense proper.
