unexplained revenue dropoff

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum that figured I better learn more about Adsense before business goes under. After digging around in Adsense I came across targeting types and found a source of the 44% dropoff in revenue. Aug 19th 2014 is when the big hit happened but as you can see from the Analytics report of same time period the traffic didn't change at all.

I've been unable to find anything online that would explain it. My Adsense rep doesn't know or doesn't want to tell me. Can anyone point me in the right direction to be looking?

oh well it appears I cannot attach a graphic.. But the numbers are
No Traffic Change in Google Analytics 20k pv's per day but yet a 44% drop in revenue "like a cliff" occurred on Aug 19th 2014. bounced up and down 5-10+/- but has never recovered.

What about things like your ctr and cpc ? Did they change too?

they did, the most apparent was -25% CTR immediately. Almost like a algo change.

I did receive some feedback from adsense. CPC rates dropped this year but this is the case all over the board. CPCs in 2014 was on decline due to auction dynamics. Then they go on to ref switching site to responsive. Which we've seen a net decrease to rev in our responsive design test.
