Today I have an inordinate amount of German ads showing on my website. This is annoying as 90% of my traffic is from the U.S., and the other 10% is UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Did you visit some German websites yourself? Showing foreign language ads can be triggered by your recent behavior. In that case only you will see them and other visitors won't see these German ads.
