Google Adsense Approval 2 Step

I got the step 1 approval mail from Google. I am about to place the Ads code in my website.

I already have placed Google Adsense code which I got approved using another website.

Do I need to remove them and place the new ads code of the account that is in step2 approval? Or

Can I place the ad code in one of the pages/widgets without removing the existing Ads?

Once Google has approved your account you can place your code on as many sites as you like.

Is that the question you are asking?

No.

I applied for Adsense with my site(that has Google Ads placed from other Adsense account)

I got the step1 approval. I am about to place ads and verify it for the final approval.

Do I have to remove the existing ads and place my testads to get the approval? Or I can place it along with the existing ads?

It's a long time since I got my account, bear with me.

Do you have two accounts, site 1 already approved and showing ads and a new site 2 waiting for approval which is already showing your code from site 1?

Are you asking if you can simultaneously show ads from site 1 and site 2 on site 2?

May be I dint put it properly.

See.

I have 1 site.
1 Fully Approved Adsense account, this is my friend's account.
1 Partially approved(step 1 approved, need to place the ad for verification)

Currently, Site holds Fully approved account's ads.

I want to place the Partially approved account's Ad code for the final approval.

Can I just go ahead and place the Ad or i have to remove the existing Ads and place the PendingAccount's ads?

That's ok, I thought that was what you meant.

Whilst there is no necessity to remove the code I would suggest you do because when Google checks it to approve it what would happen to your friend's account if they were not to approve it?

I don't know but I'd say that your friend may get a warning notice from Google about the site on which the code is displayed.

They may also ask why is this person seeking approval when it's already displaying a code?

Don't jeopardise your account, and your friend's, before you've even started.

What redbar said; yes remove your friends code and replace it with yours.

HOWEVER, if you do not get approved, then DO NOT put your friends code back as they could get banned for their adsense being on a non-compliant site.

I agree.

I applied for approval and got the mail stating
"Your application has been successfully reviewed. Now you need to create your first ad unit and place the ad code on <site> to fully activate your account."

What is the possibility of getting rejected in the next step(place ads)?

No idea without knowing what the site is!

Well, that reads to me as though you're fully accepted and ready to go unless they have changed their proceedures?

I honestly can't remember since it was some 11 years ago.

Good luck and remember to send us our commission:-)

Nope. Approval is now a 2 step process.

How long has it been like that?

What is the second approval?

Been like that for a at least a yr or so now.

First stage: apply; probably assessed by bots
If get approved at that stage, then add the adcode (shows blank ads) - probbaly then assessed by humans and traffic patterns looked at (maybe?).

2nd stage takes 2-4 wks

I guess that's for the wallpaper site built out of Google images.

Yep. That's why the friend's site was used to get the okay.

This is why Google should approve every site, not just the first one.

Did I mention "Wallpaper" here? Don't just assume yourself.

I got what I wanted. Close this.

Why didn't you place the code on your own site from the beginning then?

Hello, that's my own site. My friend's adsense code was installed previously. I was not sure about removing his Adcode when I applied for approval for my account.

I placed the step2_adcode and got it approved. I dint remove my friend's adcode when i placed my adcode. Now I removed his code and placed my approved adcode.

You sure did. And most if not all of it belongs to someone else.
