I just had to go and look if I had ANY ads showing on my sites, yep they're there, clicks completely stopped, wtf now?

Same here. RPM < 10% of normal and completely unrelated junk ads showing on main pages. Those ads aren't appearing in the review center either.

I am not joking, I went through one site, 2 ads per page, and every single ad was for ... AdWords!

I've never seen so much screwing around with ad formats in one day. Giant stupid thumbnails, 4 different arrow block colors, and now the display urls are gone.
I tried all morning to block ads that had nothing to do with my content, no effect.
My page CTR today is 0.75 %, normally it's 3 to 4 %. My best performing ad unit is at 0.26 % CTR today.
I get a few good weeks or months now and then and I keep thinking I might publish some new products and services I've been holding back for a while. But then google screws things up like this again and I think, why bother?

Relax! October is the beginning of Q4 and there is always a bit of a lag the first 1-2 weeks. Q4 is historically strong for ad revenue leading into Christmas but it will take a bit for advertisers to ramp up their advertising.

The ads are there. The review center has 4 or more pages of new relevant ads each day. So why aren't they being served?

Not all sites are devoted to retail customers and Xmas. This is the worst start to a month I've ever seen, it's an unequivocal mess.
FWIW it's not yet reached 25% of October 1st 2013.

Great traffic. Very very poor CPC and CTR.
Testing some different ad spots to see if it makes a difference.
Very disappointing.

US RPM dropped by 60% today. Worst day since September.

Red bar. Ugh. I dislike that thing. Usually means a 20% drop in earnings, and it does explain today's numbers.

Lowest-ever earnings' day at 30% of September average.
PVs normal, everything else in the pan, CTR third lowest of all time and 50% of 2014 average ... something's seriously wrong.

First post in this subforum. I came here because today I saw 50% decrease in RPM, 40% drop in CTR and 20 % drop on CPC.
I am glad to see I am not alone.

Mine is up by about 15%, but I had a boost from Panda 4.1.
This is the best quarter of the year for me, so I hope the trend continues.

So these non interest based, non contextual, non relevant ads that are killing my CTR seem to be cookie based. They're marked adwords/contextual in the publisher toolbar but they aren't in the least bit related and they aren't showing up for review.
No way to stop them from my publisher account, they just keep coming and make a serious page look completely stupid while my high paying niche ads sit idle.
As soon as I delete cookies, I see the correct ads again.
Unfortunately I doubt most users regularly delete cookies so those rogue ads are going to stick like crap and continue to kill earnings for some time yet.
No idea where these messed up cookies are coming from yet though, google search maybe? About all I do is scan the rich snippets. I don't use use any other sites on this OS.

Two days and not even reached September's daily average and today is looking even worse.
I'll see what happens over the weekend however if it doesn't improve will begin removing AdSense off the lower and non-earning sites.

FWIW, I am seeing some improvement today vs. the 1st and 2nd. Not all the way back to "normal", but any improvement is welcome.
