Under "Allow and Block Ads" - Under "Display Ads", which options do you turn on, and why.

1- Similar sized display ads - show smaller but higher performing display ads in larger ad units.

2- Enhanced display ads - show performance-enhancing features on display ads.

3- Animated display ads - show animated display ads.

4- Expandable ads - show ads that expand beyond the ad unit size - following a user-initiated action.

5- VPAID ads - show VPAID video ads.

I have always been "all off" on these 5 options.
I am now going to try "all in" - turn them all on.
Of course, I will report back.

Comments?

Thank you.

Beware those Expandable Ads. I have not used them but read of others complaints about ads expanding to cover the window and people can think it is some pop-up from your site. Yes, it requires action to expand, but people don't get that it's not you..

I have all checked in green as turned "on". This makes for the largest possible pool of advertisers bidding for space on your site. (Actually, the algorithm looks at the widest possible pool of ads to display when someone views a page, so over the long term your earnings should be higher as a result.

I believe I've only got #2 and #3 enabled. I don't care if the other ones earn more, I don't like em myself so I prefer not to inflict them on my users.
