Are check payments no longer offered to Canadian Adsense Publishers?

Can Canadian publishers at least opt for EFT payments in U.S dollars?

EFT is available in Canada. Check payments are no longer supported in countries where Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is available.

No option for US dollars. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) directly deposits your AdSense earnings into your bank account, in your local currency, to greatly speed up and simplify the payment process.

Yeah I'm dealing with the same disappointment. Oh well. What bugs me is that the form fields are NOT clear. Minor quibble but I wait for a deposit which might not show up simply because I put the bank info in the wrong field. The only way to know? I guess after 1 or 2 weeks I should know.

It seems not.

Yes, apparently. But no luck so far successfully setting up EFT.

Yes, Adsense EFT is available in US Dollars in Canada. I successfully set it up last month and have received one payment. The July payment should arrive soon!

Just curious, with CIBC there is a dash in the account number. Any idea if the dash is required in the adsense form? I'm waiting, waiting, and naturally will miss the payment date!

You can try with the dash. Dash in account number usually indicates an account sub-type. The small amount that's deposited to validate the account will confirm if the account number is correct.

Okay now I'm getting frustrated. I've been trying this all month. Still nothing working. Now that I'm missing the deadline, I'm sure I have to wait until next payday? Can anyone verify that?

I can say, dash doesn't work. Transit number and bank code are still question marks. Three or more business days per attempt. I must be useless at this. I really need the money which is a first to say.

Okay I'll update my frustrating story about this.

First, just today I got my account verified. I missed about 3 months, perhaps 2 payments.

I'm the idiot because all my frustration could have been alleviated with a simple email to adsense. If you are failing at this like I did, email adsense support, provided you have access to that.

I will say the issue was that I was submitting my CAD fund Canadian bank account. Turns out that my adsense account is in USD and therefore I MUST have a USD account in Canada to get paid. From what I see, you must close your adsense account and reopen it if you want to switch from USD to CAD.

So if any Adsense employees are reading this, thank you very much for your help. I forgot that things changed and there are live real people to assist. Thank you!
