Is there any difference in earnings between Asynchronous and Synchronous google adsense ads?

Not that I can tell. There are too many variables to imply causality, but I can tell you that last year I was not running async ads during my peak season, and this year I am, and right now my earnings are just about double what they were last year. Can't attribute it to the async ads, but I'm pretty sure they don't hurt.
