Ok, I know that AdSense stats are not truly accurate in determining smart phones however May 2014 AdSense showed for me more than a quarter were tablet/smart phone earnings. This is interesting since even only two years ago my tablet/mobile earnings were not even 10%, since then:

2013 Jan-June 16.6%
2013 July-Dec 22.1%
2014 Jan-May 24.8%
2014 May 27.7%

Are you seeing similar/higher/lower ratios?

My tablet/mobile earnings for May were about 45%. Since I'm event based (and outdoor events at that) I expect that mobile number to jump sky high in June. Last year it was over 70%.

That's amazing netmeg, interestingly my largest percentage of mobile users are India followed by China with most of them being within my widget industry. Joe Public in Europe and the US etc are definitely on the up and as each new responsive html5 site is launched mobile usage numbers are looking good and industry enquiries increasing.

My restaurant sites also have a huge percentage of mobile users. In May, tablet/mobile pageviews were 62% and earnings were 46%. But this really depends on your niche.

My main site deals with information people can use on the go so I've seen similar upward trends in the mobile arena as well. Summer only intensifies the activity. Traffic is virtually 100% US-based.

It really depends on your niche. My B2B clients (who don't run AdSense, but are ecommerce) have a much lower rate of mobile, and what there is is almost entirely tablet.

For me, High End mobiles shows 11% of earnings and 31% of ad requests.
Tablets, 22% of earnings and 21% of ad requests.
The mobiles have slightly lower CTR than tablets and significantly lower CPC.
