I have had my Adsense for a few years now, but only really been using it since last July. Well The last 2 months March & April have been my best months so far!.

How much on Average should I be making with 15,000 Visitors a day? Its not a blog its a file service for phone roms and downloads. Not sure if I can post a link link here since I`m new.

And now so far this month is not as great starting out.

sorry wasnt sure on how to edit on here its different from other forums. Anyway, $2.83 so far today with 9,000 Visits. That seems a tad of rip off considering last month 5,000 visits would give me $9.

So any tips?

You should be making way more. It could be you are smart priced and you're being served cheap ads that pay obviously very low CPC.

Sorry for the double post, The post was removed because I put my domain in there. I`d also like to add I do legitly use about 40TB of BW each month on my site, So extra income would help me greatly when it comes to adsense.

Hi hyelton - welcome to Webmaster World. I'm wondering if this might explain part of a low earnings question?
Its not a blog its a file service for phone roms and downloads.

If most of your visitors are coming in for other files, it is common to want to close the site when the download is complete and not click on anything during a download. Not always, but common behavior. If your site is used for file deliveries and storage more than anything, you don't have as many opportunities for casual clicks, shopping, or curiosity clicks.

About your missing Post - I am not a Moderator in this Forum, I can't tell you much about that, but you probably received a StickyMail if a post needed editing.

Help with site-specific issues is only available in the Paid Subscribers forum: [webmasterworld.com...] - out here we try to stick to discussions in a more general sense so that it is more useful for more users.

You're welcome to add your site to your profile and if anyone wants to click there to see it, they can.

There's no "should" when it comes to earnings. It all depends on what your niche is, the quality of your traffic, the quality of the advertisers, and so on.

not2easy is right - a download site typically isn't going to make a lot of money (no matter how you place your ads) because people aren't there to click ads or buy things - they're there to get free files.

You could consider adding sections to your site for posts, or a forum (although those tend not to pay big bucks either) but the bottom line is, user intent. If you want to make good money on AdSense, you have to find a way to capture someone in a buying cycle. You really need to think about why people are coming to your site, and how you can attract and keep people who don't want to just grab a file and leave.

There's a lot of posts in this forum about the topic, you can start with these, they might help.

@hyelton - just an FYI public service announcement but it is against AdSense policy to post your exact stats on earnings publically. I doubt they will come after you for just this post, but is not a good habit to get into regardless.

It also indicates that you may not be familiar with policy. I would HIGHLY recommend that you make yourself very familiar with it so you do not become a "I don't know how I got banned" casualties we see so often here.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld. :)

I`ve read there policy. I havent posted up my entire stats, I was just giving an example. Thats not what I earned in total, Things got a little better in the afternoon :) But I`m hoping a redesign will help things out a little bit.

Excuse my ignorance but what the heck is that? Is it something to do with gaming? If so, no wonder I don't know:-)

Given that niche, I'm not surprised at the relatively low earnings. Your visitors are likely coming to grab a file and leaving. If you haven't already, think about how to lead these visitors to information such as upgrade offers, apps, and phone reviews - perhaps enticing them to upgrade their hardware rather than rooting a phone.
