couldn't stand AdSense targeting anymore

This is not a rant, but my feedback about annoying AdSense targeting where Google display ads keep showing whatever I visited last. The result was installing ad blocker plugin for my main browser. If I need to see ads, I can use some of other browsers I have installed on my PC.

It just made me feel extremely stupid seeing stuff that I already purchased and finished with. Total miss all the time.

The way I see ads is that they're in line with the content of the website, and that they actually offer something new, something I did not know about, something I'm yet to discover and say, "Hey, this is cool, I'm going to check it out."

Example: Reading news at Reuters and seeing my electrical tooth brush (already purchased) across the top felt so irrelevant and disconnected with the site, plus it made Reuters' website being of less value in my eyes. And even before I bought it, I just felt pressured with seeing an ad for it.
Stop pushing me! It causes resistance.

I've written this time and time again here, why don't you simply let your browser automatically delete cookies, and history if you want, when you close it?

No need for an ad blocker since you'll see new ads everytime you open your browser.

The fault lies with the advertisers, who are not properly implementing remarketing, and with AdWords, who put a gun in advertisers' hands without teaching them how to use it correctly. On this one, you can't really fault the AdSense team.

Yeah this doesn't have anything to do with AdSense. And I'm glad it's an Adwords option because they are my most profitable clicks as a publisher. The RPM's are always the highest.

Amazon seems to be one of the worst at this. Look at anything from there and it follows you from site to site. Dell computers too. Annoying.

Yea, it's annoying. But it works. That's why (as advertisers) we do it.
