I see this from time to time (usually resolves in a few minutes at most). Heck, I do this to my own sites from time to time when upgrading code or whatever. It can often be a precursor to something new being rolled out in Adsense. Not that whatever is new is always immediately noticeable to us guinea pigs.

Really?
Just for the sheer fun of it I load-up on-the-fly and wonder about people's faces when their browsers suddenly go crazy squirming all over the place trying to understand what's being thrown at them...yeah, I have a sadistic side to me sometimes:-)

When you see the error, just click 'Home' link on top. It usually revolves it. I think it's a glitch.

I'm fairly sure however I don't think there is a "Home" link whatsoever, I'll check next time since there will be a next time!

It's not a glitch. Even if you log-off, or try another account, it still happens.
It has been happening quite a bit recently, and only lasts 5-10 minutes.

Well, I'm still convinced it's related to upgrades in the interface. For one, the Adsense interface is evolving as we speak. Maybe it takes a couple of minutes to wire up a new interface feature to a new data set. Who knows? It's not likely if you go to the interface and find it down that you're going to go away and never come back. They know this so it's probably not a big deal to temporarily shut of part of the service (even during the business day) to implement a change.
