Advice needed - incorrect "scraped content" Adsense warning

How to deal with a "false positive" warning inside Adsense?

I have a warning inside my Adsense account that states the violation is "scraped content" and gives me a short time to resolve it.

However, the site that is highlighted as the purported "scraper" is a large (200+ page) informational content site that I put online in 1998, and have updated periodically since then (though not for a while, admittedly) and for which I wrote every single word myself!

It's listed in Yahoo, Dmoz and other authority sites, has been referenced hundreds of times from mass media, government and educational sites, and has accumulated over 100,000 incoming links (I mention this just to emphasize that this is "quality" not something thrown together for the search engines in a couple of hours).

I have been an Adsense user since 2003 and this is the first time anything like this has happened.

What should I do? I can't find any way of contacting Google within the Adsense system to report the "false positive" yet it looks like if I don't do anything Adsense serving will soon be turned off!

All suggestions and help very welcome...

If you're averaging $25 a week or more in AdSense, you should have access to email support.

Are you ranking okay for your own content, or are scrapers outranking you (while using your content) ?

Well, in the last month (according to Webmaster Tools) there's been:
3,029 queries
121,836 impressions
7,964 clicks

Checking the top few search terms from the WMT report, I outrank all the scrapers.

Oh, and I average over $25 a day yet AFAIK I don't have access to email support (where would I find that option?)

This is why it's so mystifying and worrying!

(I didn't ask what GWT said - have you noticed any scrapers ranking above you for your own content?)

Go here and it should tell you if you're eligible for support (make sure you're logged in to your AdSense account first)

Fantastic, that link gave me access to an email form and submitting it gave a message promising a prompt reply.

Thank you so much. Hopefully it will all turn out to be a big misunderstanding!
