I am gonna try the adsense Custom Search, but I am confused. Is it limited to 100 queries per day ? Also it says 1000 queries $5, according to the api documentation. So are there any limits like that ?

To my best knowledge there are two versions:
The free CSE has no limits but is showing ads. There is no API.
SiteSearch is the enterprise solution with API and without ads. This is a paid version.

@bhukkel the free version shows ads, but you get paid when ads (inside the serp) are being clicked.

Nope, Google is slack on implementing its limits... I have 3 sites with Custom Search and never been capped on total searches... Even if they are above 1000.
