Anybody get money in bank today in US? My didnt show up but I have pip and im wondering if they sent it yesterday before the bank cutoff time.

It showed up late in the day yesterday in my account, and for some reason it takes an extra two days ever since I switched to my credit union, so it probably won't show up till Monday at the earliest (for me).

emmm never heard of valueclick, founded 5 years before, never missed a payment. They also pay on an actual date not some vague "round about" this time approach favoured by the big G. You know PIP on 22nd and it is in the bank "round about" the 28th/29th/maybe 30th?

wasn't actually complaining. Pointing out that other companies are just as good at paying if not better. VC has never missed a payment in 14 years that I have been with them, not once, to quote your good self. However, what I don't like is the random nature of their payments. You will see that three posts above I was astounded at someone being paid on a saturday because I thought, being UK as well, that we all got paid on same day. However, apparently not. On person in UK paid on Friday, mine will be in "sometime". That's why this PIP thread is a pointless waste of time and effort. MIB is the only thing we are all actually interested in. Anyway, off to check my stats for the 14th time today cause I have nothing else to do in my life!

Ah, misunderstood. Worked under the principle that all UK publishers got paid on the same date. Your PIP is the same date but clearly get paid earlier than me. All publishers are equal under adsense but some are more equal than others - to misquote George Orwell :)

Got the email that a PIP was issued - still don't see anything in my band account. Not even showing up as pending. Probably just Google hanging on as long as possible to earn even more interest on the money we worked for.

diddlydaz are you sure your not getting PI email confused with MIB? I am a UK publisher and get paid every month by EFT, I have never known MIB next day from PIP. The system usually works PIP, following day PI, then MIB on the 2nd working day from PI, so on this basis my calculations takes MIB on Tues 26th could even be 27th. Can I also point out that these payment threads are very popular by viewers who get nervous and anxious at this payment period time, especially new users waiting for first ever payments. If you have MIB on Friday 22nd for UK then you will be the first person in my experience of these threads to get this ;-)

how could i get money confused with an email? ;o)

I am not referring to any PIP email, I am referring to the PIP notification in the AdSense CP and Money In Bank.

For example, last month PIP notification one day (in CP), MIB next day.

This month (see above).

It has only been last month and this month where the MIB is so fast.

Seems to have been some sort of change in the process (at least from what i am seeing) starting last month.

check last month's PIP thread and you will see a few members noticing a difference in the process.

Sure netmeg, because everything they do isn't about Google making as much money as possible right? In Google's defense, contractually they could wait to pay until the last day of each month. Then again, they could pay us MUCH earlier every month - say the 9th. Why don't they? Because they'd lose a ton of money in interest from investing the money they owe us. If you didn't take Economics 101 I'm sure there are websites that will catch you up to speed.

For one, they have 2 million publishers to pay. It takes some time to do the accounting, credit advertisers for bad clicks, etc. Most companies have a payment lag. It's just how it is. Not a big deal.

Google could figure anything out if it was in THEIR best interests is all I am saying. Let's all move on.

Google pays when they say they will (or even earlier) and has consistently since the beginning of the program. I can only think of one time when there some technical glitch where it was a day or two late. Personally I've changed banks three times since I started with AdSense, and money actually being received depends on how the *bank* processes it, and was different in each case, even when Google pays on the same day every month.

There's plenty of reasons to be legitimately pissed at Google, one doesn't need to make them up.

I only suggested we all move on because this board is not supposed to be about attacking other people personally.
