Hope someone can be of a help with this. In January I changed my country of business. I was advised by Adsense to open a new account as it wasn't possible to change address within my account. The opening of the new account went smoothly however I am confused as to how to get the unpaid earnings from my old account transferred to my new account. I will bold the parts of their emails that have me confused:

"For tax and security reasons, we are unable to change the country listed in your AdSense account. Therefore, you値l need to submit a new application with your updated mailing address and we値l eventually close your existing account. Once your original account has been closed, we値l transfer your unpaid earnings."

"To help ease this transition, you won稚 have to close your existing account prior to submitting a new application. However, please note that we won稚 be able to transfer your unpaid earnings until your original account has been closed."

It is now eight months later and my old account still remains open with unpaid earnings still sitting within it. I placed a self-hold on the account when creating a new one but don't want to remove the hold now as I don't want the unpaid earnings going into my old bank account.

Does anyone know how long it takes for Adsense to close an old account or do I have to initiate the closure? I'm really stumped at this point as there seems to be no communication from their end :/ Thanks.
