Heh that's going to probably show up a lot with my seasonal sites.

I just Googled this after getting a 60% warning for the first time. My traffic was the same, the loss of earnings was caused by a large unexplained reduction in both EPC and CTR. It returned to normal the next day but the warning message is still in my dashboard.

Look for clawbacks of clicks (clicks appear, then disappear 1 to 30 minutes later) which decrease over a few days, but leave you with a greatly reduced CTR which *might* slowly recover as your "punishment period" expires. Let us know if this matches. It seems like G has been rolling out a new formula that is killing selected publishers. They are blaming it on invalid clicks, which doesn't explain the recovery behavior if you have any traffic at all.

Me? No, that's not my issue. My busiest sites are seasonal, and the season peaked on July 4th. After that, it's all downhill (on those sites) until next May or so. Oh, with a occasional spikes around Labor Day and New Year's. I have other sites that work year round, but the big bump always comes this time of year. You'd think after eight or nine years, AdSense would see that there's a pattern to this, but no. They think I should have made $868 yesterday. Well I think so too! ork ork ork.
