All stats down for a while now

CTR, CPC, eCPM all went down

I have a news blog about an specifc industry (paid TV) and for a while now all my stats are lower than usual.

-I have around 12.000 daily pageviews

-60% is returning visitor but the eCPM for new and returning is the same.

-The above also aplies for organic and direct traffic.

-My CTR went down in the last 3 months by around 40% (the same with the CPC or even more)

-All this while my unique visistor and pageviews continues to grow (around 15% each month)

Anyone can tell me why is that? If so, what can I do?I've tried more ad units, less ad units, different positions, colors, etc.

I know Google serve better paying ads and also pay more per click to sites that convert well, but I can't see why mine wouldn't compared to others in the same niche...

Are you capturing people who are in a buying cycle, or just people who are looking for news? Because the news people are probably less likely to click.

CTR has been dropping for pretty much everyone, I think. You might test some new ad styles; things like colors, background colors, borders. If your ads are blended now, try making them stand out (or if they stand out, trying blending them) Always be testing. I once found out that a color change made a significant improvement.

Yes, I'll keep on testing... also implement ad rotation and stuff like that, but I don't know, maybe i've been smartpriced?

Smart pricing would affect earnings per click (EPC) and not CTR.

I know, but as i said, along with my CTR, the CPC also lowered significantly, while my pageviews grew, therefore, my EPC lowered a lot

Smartpricing is a BIG effect. There's no a little bit or gradual as far as I understood it from interactions with adsense staff. Any decline you see that doesn't look like your CPC fell off of a cliff is not smartpricing IMHO.

I see, but one thing I noted is that the ads displayed on my page are now from more "amateur" advertisers, like from resselers...
