Mobile Adsense Revenue Spike

Since 10/23/12, my mobile adsense revenue has tripled and I can't figure out why. No changes were made to the site on 10/23. Is anyone aware of any changes that google might have made to their mobile ads which would be responsible for the significant increase in revenue?

What changed, specifically? Take a look at your analytics. Was it the number of clicks that changed, or the CTR or the earnings per click? Can you isolate the mobile traffic and see if it came from Google or some other source?

The page views are down less than half since 10/23 but ctr (1.8%), cpc ($2.00), and clicks have more than doubled. As for mobile traffic, GA --> Mobile --> Overview report shows no spike in traffic as well.

You might have gotten a new high paying advertiser.
