Maybe that could be part of the problem.If it were me, i'd do a back up of the site, then change colors, positions, different sizes etc. Just to shake things up a bit.

If it fails, just upload the original site.

Can't hurt, if you're not doing that well now anyway. On my sites, the upswing in the earnings graph when I switched to a 728x90 is like a *mountain*. Dunno how long it will last, but I shoulda probably done it long ago.

CPC down over 50% in july. #*$!. This isnt a small site. I get millions per month so it aint static/noise. WTF google.

The problem is two fold:
a) CTR from the old days went from 5% down to 2% and now hovers around 1%

b) Panda and Penguin have by far the biggest impact since they came along.

On another forum today one person said since the Google Animal Farm came along his best sites were in the toilet while his rubbish sites were outperforming themselves.

I've been using 728X90 for quite a long time.

Chaching! I'm having a rare "orgasmic" type Adsense earnings day. First day worthy of a post here since starting July. If I'm turning things around then there really must be a "comsmic" type interference going on. I'm getting those more traditional "chunky" style clicks which have all but evaporated lately. Fridays are my worst days historically speaking so this is encouraging for me. I'm going for a cold shower now.

Another disappointing day coming to a close here. Click count barely budged all day. Earnings less than 30% of average. :-(

Yesterday was pretty rubbish.

Daily earnings on constant decline since July 2nd. Traffic has been constant. CTR decreased by 1.5% - 2% and CPC dropped by 5 cents or so. RPM has is almost 45% less compared to June. Earnings are also 45% less compared to June.

Bring back 4th July, earnings yesterday 41.75% of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday average.

What the heck have they done now?

Yesterday ended as bad as it started. Today looks promising, but now it's stuck.

I get an average of 400-550 clicks a day, but what i noticed on my end is variance in CPC. On bad days, i average 0.15 cents/click. On a normal day, around 0.29. On good days, anywhere from 0.32-0.42. So far it's been mostly 'bad days' in July for me. CTR has been average...

With 5 and 6 July being OCD's, the 7th was clickdump day putting July earnings back to average level.

Sort of amazing that ole sites I gave up quite some time ago, can bounce back on the map. Sort of thought Google ditches sites not updated for a long time. With Adsense back on it, there's surprising revenue from sites I presumed totally utterly dead.

These sites carry static info, not in great need to be updated, i wouldn't have a clue what to write there anyway. Navigation with ole-style text menu GUI's on the left side. No SEO at all, short texts with a few pics. Ads are text and images - 468x15.
Amazing of all - revenue comes from India, Pakistan. Big clicks...

My CPC normally gets a good boost at some point during the day, but yesterday it never recovered. Not a good day.

I had a surprisingly good Saturday. Today is dead so far, and Sundays never go well for me, but at least yesterday's earnings will make up for today's losses.
