the "change" column on AS summary page

what dates does it refer to

When the summary page quick report shows performance for the last 7 days, what period of time is it using to show the "change" factor?

The seven days proceeding the current period? The same seven days from the previous month? Sometime in past centuries? A secret know one is allowed to know?

I've always assumed it to be the last seven days compared to the previous 8-14 days.

Yeah, I don't pay any attention to that section of the homepage for that reason - there's no indication of what it is comparing to :(
