Well just what does that prove? They switched off the EFT processing on Friday afternoon after they'd done the cheques?
Doesn't Google work 24/7/365/366 this year?
I find this quite bizarre, don't you?

Bizarre indeed but it gets worse: even if Google processed PIPs on Friday afternoon we wouldn't have MIB until Monday evening. Why? My bank's open on Saturday now and some branches are starting to operate on Sundays but regardless - the E in EFT stands for Electronic.
This weird weekend funds-transferring freeze was ridiculous to begin with, ludicrous now (end rant, dead horse flogged).

Waking up in the afternoon?! Give me some of that. So glad Friday is almost over, I can get some sleep. Thanks Google, the MIB went down well mid-week. Started my weekend early. hah.
