Today I'm noticing that when I first visit my own site, ads appear as usual on the site for a few seconds. Then the ad block disappears and reverts to the background color of the page.
If I refresh the page, the ad unit re-appears and remains.
Anyone else noticing this?

I just checked my site and all is normal. Maybe G is playing around with a new idea? Creating urgency: "Click fast before it disappears" :D

I've been noticing it for about a week. Also ads taking forever to load.

Nope. All I see is Eddie Murphy all over my sites. He must have a movie out.

Me too netmeg!I keep seeing Eddie Murphy on the street, in cars, on my TV, and I hear him on the radio. I think I should take my medication again. :D

If I have more than one unit on a page, I've noticed that not all do the disappearing act.

"Click fast before it disappears"
Maybe it's an AdSense version of wack-a-mole?

Are you still experiencing it? Have you noticed a decline in CTR or impressions?

Okay, a few things here... The people who are noticing this, is it happening with old-style code or new ? Also, are those adverts set to "text" "text/image" or "image only" ?
And browser ?
It's okay to say that they are disappearing, but if we can find some common denominator, the better.

Text only.

IE XP
I'm still observing this. I haven't yet had the opportunity to check with another computer so it could be just my computer - although someone else reported it on their site also.

It looks like this is happening in IE but not in Firefox.
