Putting Google Adsense up on a domain that was previously banned

hello,

I had purchased a domain a while ago and was told that the previous owners G. Adsense account was banned.

Now that the domain has been transferred to me, can I put up my own Google Adsense ads?

I don't know why he was banned but would love to give it a shot. Is it worth the risk? What will happen if I put up my own ads? Will it simply not appear? or will my account also get banned?

Best to ask Google themselves. There is an Adsense forum where you can ask. We no longer have an ASA.

Xeon got a site unbanned in 2009 but it took more than a month:
[webmasterworld.com...]

Be careful about putting Adsense on a banned site. Someone in the Adsense forum reported that their account was terminated after doing that.
