Is there a photo sharing album with which I can use AdSense?

I have my own custom-built galleries, I have my Coppermine galleries to which only I can upload.

Is there an online programme whereby I can allow users to upload their own images, allow me to approve or disapprove and also allows AdSense? I also need the facility for companies to be able to post brief descriptions etc.

I don't mind paying a subscription for it, within reason, but I do expect many thousands of trade widget images to be uploaded therefore anything restricted to a couple of thousand or so is of no use to me and daily viewings would be into the tens of thousands, probably hundreds of thousands+ once established.

Any other suggestions or ideas are welcomed, would something like Windows Live SkyDrive be of any use?

Thanks

It's been a while but I think gallery (menalto) could be useful here. You can allow users to register (create new accounts) or you can create the accounts for them so they can upload their photos. You can review the pictures, reject the ones not fitting your criteria and above all, users or admins can feed the gallery with tags or descriptions, I remember you can create private areas (non public galleries), also allow people to download versions of the photos, configure watermarked images in case of hotlinking) and even plug some "add to cart" extensions, or "add to print"... all that for free.

And yes you can add what you want to the templates (adsense).

I tried almost extensively at the time (2-3+ years ago). I liked it but (yes, there is a "but") my rankings went down, it was an old website that I never touch with very clean-fast code... the final website ended with lots of html, I removed most of it but I only got my traffic (and earnings) back switching to my old fashion design and interface (designed by me)...

I don't think that's something to worry about, take it as a plain usual effect of redesigning a site (something that has been discussed here before), just take the part of "need to optimize the code". I mentioned it in case you also have some sort of already stablished site. In my case I decided to manage my own images only, that's why it made no sense to keep trying.

Good luck.

Since Fotopic went belly up I stick with custom built galleries for my photos.

I would add that I have found that the CTR for a photo gallery is miniscule.

Yep, my Coppermine has averaged 0.36% this year however the EPC is good at about USD 0.50

I think gallery (menalto)

Ah, now that's on my cpanel, I think I tried it once, better go and have another look at it.

I was considering the idea of something like e-classifieds photo edition, has anyone used that?

It does depend on the subject matter.

I have various galleries on my site. Some CTR were piss-poor, so I removed them. Others are doing exceptionally well. In fact, 3 of them are in my top 5 earning channels.
