Google Split Testing Adsense

a few days ago after i noticed a drop in my Adsense earning I've been watching my sites "looking for new advertiser, non relevant ads, or anything that could explain the issue"

Since I been watch my site and ads I noticed google has been playing around with the format of text ads.

A typical ads would run like

Heading
Text 1
Text 2
www.Url.com

All aligned to the left on a typical 300X250.

Now I'm seeing on occasions

Heading
www.Url.com
Text 1
Text 2

OR

Header
www.url.com
Text 1
Text 2
All text centered

OR

Header
Text 1
Text 2
www.url.com
all text center

OR

Heading + Text 1
Text 2 + www.url.com

?

I'm also noticing an change in font style and text.

Is anyone else noticing this?

I'm not blaming this on drop in earning, just asking.

king of looks terrible with my text aligned left and adsense centered text in the middle.

Someone else mentioned this the other day. Sounds like they are testing different formats.

They're always trying something, yesterday I saw the smallest readable font in a 728 leaderboard, it only took up half the space.

a warning before test would be good. testing could impact earnings on the publisher side.

on the changed ads it looking totally out of place.

The variation you noticed is part of normal and ongoing testing we perform to improve our ad formats. They only run for a very short amount of time and are only shown to a very small percentage of your users.

Our engineers are always closely monitoring the results of our test, and any variations should impact only a small percentage of your impressions.
