It's worth testing.

The amount you could expect from AdSense for Domains would depend on the topic of your domains, and also how likely your domains were to get traffic, either from type-ins or from following old links.

I have about sixty domains in AdSense for Domains, and the page eCPM is consistently higher than the AdSense on my regular pages. It's only a small part of my AdSense income, though, because the domain traffic is small.

Thanks - do you know how Google index's such sites as they wont have user content on them ?

G will typically not index these sites and they rarely rank for a keyword.

How else would people ever find them or get to them ? If google does not index them, then users are not likely to find it via a serach for something so i assume the only way users would get to them was from a link on another site ? Unless i misunderand how it works. I have a large number of domains some that have content on them others that dont, so i was thinking of at least making some money from them by suing Adsense for Domains. I know myself when looking for stuff on the net i have landed on these sites, so they must be indexed somehow, maybe they had content on them at some point i dont know. What would be the point if users never found the domain. Unless it was a direct typo, and the chance of that is low i guess.

Some sites existed as a real site, but later become parked.

Personally, I think it is wrong to have adsense on parked domains. If you have a real site with little content, you risk losing your account. But a parked domain has zero content, and it's allowed. Go figure :/

Type-ins. Sometimes people type in "some search term dot com" just to see what's on the domain. Those users are often very well targeted.

Some domain names based on popular searches can be worth quite a bit just for the type-in traffic.

Thanks for the comments. I might give it a try with a few domains and see how i go. Some domains i own have content on them but are low page rank so only earn me a little cash each month so i will change of of these and see if things improve or get worse its worth a try. I know there is nothing better than good content and pages.

But my top 2 site's speak volumes, my top site for Adsense has 3 pages and is a specilized content and my 2nd top site has 3000 pages.

Ye, it sounds like it does not work to well from what i read, I will let you know the outcome, will only try with a few domains if it dont work its no major loss.

First thing you need to know is that as soon as you put domains into AdSense For Domains, Google puts a big ole NOINDEX on those domains. Which means they will not be indexed in Google. Or Bing. Or Yahoo. So if you're counting on traffic from search, it won't happen. Period.

Second thing you need to know is that AdSense for Domains is the red-headed step child that gets NO attention from Google. I put several hundred domains into AFD last month, just temporarily while I was deciding whether or not to hang on to them. After a couple of weeks, all the domains *disappeared* out of my account, but were still showing Google ads (albeit with someone else's pub ID and French text) It wasn't just me either, it happened to some others (there are posts in the Google forum about it, by me and by others) AdSense personnel stopped by just long enough to acknowledge it was some kind of problem on their end, and they were "looking into it" and then promptly forgot about it. After ten days of inaction, I moved my domains out. Never got an explanation, nor any report, nor any recompense for my domains showing ads with someone else's pubID. Effectively, Google stole from me. (No, that's not too harsh a term) Fortunately, it couldn't have been very much money on these particular domains (if they were that valuable, I wouldn't have put them in AFD to begin with)

The only choice that was left open to me was to re-enter them all again. Well there's no reason for me to do that, without some idea of what happened in the first place.

Bottom line - I'd find another place to park your domains. It's an afterthought for Google, and they're pretty much ignoring it. I wouldn't at all be surprised if they drop the program before too long.
