25% less revenue this month

I had a fall more than 40% in revenue this month vs. last month, and it goes on.
My eCPM has fallen from ca. 1.20€ to ca. 0.75€ this month.
Then I came to an idea to give another network a chance.
So I have added a 728x90 ad from another network and surprisingly had an eCPM of 3.45$ .

I don't know what is going wrong with Adsense, but I know if it continues so LOW, I move completly to another network.

AdSense users are increasing at a rate faster than AdWords users. Why's that so hard for everyone to figure out?

Good luck moving to another network though. If you think AdSense payouts are bad, try the other networks to see just how bad it can be. A one day eCPM doesn't prove anything; AdSense does the same thing until they've got you figured out, stuck you in a slowly lowering eCPM range, and put up a glass ceiling for good measure. It's much worse elsewhere but I guess you'll have to see for yourself.

There ARE good networks out there, but you need to be accepted and in most cases the requirements are pretty tough. Any network with easy acceptance like AdSense will be worse than AdSense.

Who are you, that you try to justify Adsense?

I have tons of ads in my Ad Review Center and if it is true what G says, that Ads compete and ads with heigher Bids will display on the page, then why the CPC and eCPM get lower and lower?
I have tried other networks before and at this level what Adsense nowaday is, can I try them again.
In my case it is worth to try other networks, yours may differ.

Ads compete, but with so many sites showing AdSense now they don't have to compete very hard. Just think about it for a second. There are more available impressions out there for ads then there are advertisers to fill the slots.

Go for it...I'm just telling you what's likely going to happen. While there are less publishers on the other networks, there are A LOT less advertisers. I never expected you to listen though; you'll obviously have to find out for yourself. Good luck.

thanks a lot for the replies. I just had the last month review for many sites and found that the traffic has been increased by 20K per month. and the over all impression has been increased with clicks as well but the ctr and ecpm is coming down and causing earning lose.

yes this is true that other network compliances are hard to meet but if it continues, we have to switchc to other ad network. what can be the good option to switch.

I thought that was a given?

For example, I had two sites with the exact same topic (not a duplicate site), but one of them had good U.S. traffic and the other had great Brazilian traffic. While the Brazilian site had much more traffic and clicks, the eCPM was #*$! compared to the other site because it was from a country where people aren't going to buy as much. Traffic quality is a HUGE part of smart pricing.

Yep, I've always understood it this way too which is precisely why Stupid Pricing frustrates me since my sites and supplies are global and none of my advertisers have a sales landing page whereby this crazy algo can be proven.

I see click values from Oz and NZ, which to me should be paying reasonably good rates, in the pennies, the same as if from India or China. These advertisers are selling the same products at similar prices as Europe and North America...quite simply Stupid Pricing does not work in my industry but can anyone get this through to them at the plex?

our site is having unique 70,000 users where 65% traffic is from the google and other search engine. rest 35% traffic is from smo and referre sites and all. i believe when we have 65% traffic from google andother engines, those are actually organic users coming to the website by searching the best industry keywords, still why google is having smart pricing issue. our client is india based, is it country or something that is tagging site into smart pricing for him..

i believe the traffic from the keywords ranking in the engine is the best quality traffic.

i am willing to change the main heading on the pages with some additional phareses to attract the good pay ad throw from google.

total 98000 users and just 168000 impressions......not good...

I'm in a similar situation with a CTR that has been dropping gradually over the last two years. Averaged over 3.0, now down near 2.0 However CPC has risen to make up for the losses. If the CPC reverts to levels of two years ago I'll be just as frustrated. I guess the large levels of North American traffic (95%) helps in my case.
