My CTR is running at less than 50% of normal but with the holiday weekend and overall traffic down this is shaping-up to be one of my worst days ever...feed the hamster, NOW!

Sorry, nothings stuck.

Go outside and enjoy the holidays with the rest of the world.

We only celebrate with brightly colored boiled unfertilized poultry ovum but once a year.

Enjoy!

My CTR dropped 50% starting April 1. Income is down 30% so PPC is up but I'm still in the hole overall. No signs of recovering yet.

Ditto, Jawhite. I just don't know how to really make up with such embarrassing situations. This has 'never' happened last year, and my only wish is, for now, to have an 'stable' earnings.

This sort of thing happens around holidays.

Banks and schools are closed this week, many businesses closed today, parents are dealing with kids, going on vacation, spending time with the extended family.

Not to mention some of the record flooding in the US north east where people are trying to save their homes and probably not online clicking on stuff.

Not everything revolves around our websites.

It'll return when people are back into their usual grind.

After a very bad Saturday, Sunday runs great.

Its Easter - no one is home and no one is at work so no one is on the computer clicking ads (darn it!)
Deal with it - the traffic will come back, and hopefully with a spike to make up the time they should have been surfing :)

We are chalking this first week up the holiday season, spring break, you name it. We just came off a record month in March. March is long month, no big holidays besides the Irish, and there was only 3 weekends in March, all which led to record revenues for us.

It was a nice reality check to get knocked back down this first week in April... ;-)

Max, three weekends in March? My calendar shows 4.

Yes, the reality of Easter weekend is lower numbers everywhere. March was a record month for me as well. Very impressive, but sustainable? Maybe.

Oops. Meant to say 4. Some months have 5 weekends... so for my niche, less weekends is more money... =)

I think the end of the fiscal year for many companies had something to do with it as well. Probably a lot of leftover budget money had to get spent if they wanted to secure the same amount for the next year.

I'm noticing a much more conservative eCPM starting out this new fiscal year.

Sunday under the top 5 days of 2010.
Monday seems to become the best Monday in 2010

Ah well, Easter Sunday was my second worst day of the year only beaten by 3rd January however with remarkably similar metrics.

CTR and earnings both down 50%, EPC completely normal.

For today my logs are showing a normal day yet AdSense seems to be completely stuck! No doubt about it, someone's stolen my hamster.

I wasn't sure if the holiday was going to linger throughout this week (it may, since many take the week off, or go on vacation).

But today is looking almost normal for us too. Perhaps most the working world is back in their cubicles.

Life is good. AdSense did fine for me on the holiday weekend, as it usually does on holidays.

Tuesday is the best AdSense day of the week consistently for 5 years now. Stats are stuck today... 75% down. Anyone else?

Just checked since I don't like looking these days, EPC and CTR fine however definitely looks stuck to me, about 30% down I would say...at least they caught my hamster and reinstalled it for a little while:-)
