Adsense made a Canadian rate exchange error this month and money was credited back to my account and now it saying that I need to update my bank info because it giving them error when they deposited the money. I'm sure my bank is working fine and the problem is on their end. Am i the only one who has this problem?

I am getting the same message in my Adsense account. The same message was posted last time Google messed up the exchange conversion. That time it wasn't necessary to make any changes to our bank info so I am just going to wait and see. They also sent an email yesterday stating that they are working on a solution and will have more information in the next few days.

So what should we do? How do we alert Google? It's quite difficult to contact them. I hope they are aware of the problem.

I have the exact same problem. It says that my payments are currently on hold and action is required to release payment, etc. The "More Details" link goes to a page saying an EFT made today (Mar 31) failed. I hate when this happens. It's always a blundering confusing mess...
If I recall correctly, Leondard0 is right. We should sit tight for a day and see it should fix itself. Unless ASA has something to add...

Not to worry, everyone, this has happened before. Money will NOT be withdrawn from your accounts. You don't have to adjust your banking info - or do anything at all. Google just uses this scary procedure so that their own accounts will balance when all is said and done.
The payment amount was revised to a lower number because Google is reconciling the amount in US$ they actually paid out last week. Be patient: you'll soon see a small extra payment that will make up for the amount we (in Canada, at least) were short-changed last week when Google accidentally reversed the exchange rate.
To repeat: Don't be scared, don't do anything, all will work out in the end :o)

We got the same message... yet, they made a deposit to our account three days ago. I'm not entering new account info... ten to one Google figures it out on their own... that said, it's annoying as hell as a publisher to have to investigate if the message is an error on their part or if something is really wrong on our end. It's bad enough they have started combining payments from GAS and GAN... I don't need this extra confusion.

Ok, I just received an email from Google explaining the error. We should receive the amount due in a few days. Check your email for details. Wheeeww!
Thanks, folks!

This has happened 1 or 2 times before. They will figure it out and get it right, don't worry. They screwed up by doubling my payment in January and so they didn't pay me in February (this year). That's in addition to the previous exchange rate screw-ups.

So you're in effect saying, Google pays peanuts and employs monkeys?
I'll actually listen, because of my commercial background, I don't believe all this jazz,

I'm actually worried.
Perhaps they do employ monkeys!

Hey I got the March payment although the exchange rate is wrong. Oh well, at least I got most of my money this month, it's better than nothing LOL.

The adjusted additional payment has now been released. Login to your Adsense to see how much you were owed.

Yep, I got a PIP for the correction on Thursday. They're paying the difference of the incorrect rate (1 USD : 0.950 CAD) and the correct (1 USD : 1.026 CAD).
Bet they'll mess it up again when the Canadian dollar goes above par, likely to happen in the next few months unfortunately. I miss the good ole days of 1.20 and 1.30 rates.

Hello,
Did you get an incorrect "Balance at end of March"?

When this happened with AUD some time ago, the message was quite confusing, and if memory serves, the message implied I needed to update bank details. I didn't. So - hang in there guys! Give it a few days and see if Google can send a better message - they probably will. (You'd think they'd have fixed this by now!)

January 2008, and September 2008 Google had this same problem for Canadian publishers. So, that's 3 of the last 27 payments they've had problems with. One would think this should all be automated without errors... monkeys indeed. ;)
Btw, I just received the make-up payment for this March error this morning...

Google should offer Canadians the option of EFT to a US dollar bank account (at Canadian banks). It can't be that hard.
