Adsense on sites gets you de-ranked?

Guys,

I have about 20 sites total... some sites are different, but close enough to be in the same niche and have the same widgets on them.

I want to put adsense on these sites, but am afraid that google will see that the same adsense is on two sites, and link the owner together, and de-rank one of them.

Any experience with this?

Thanks

They don't need the AdSense info to know that sites are linked or owned by the same people. There's a gazillion other markers out there.

And also, if you have sites that are essentially duplicated, one or more more will likely be filtered whether or not you have AdSense on them. Whether or not you own them all, or each one is owned by a different person.

This is not really an AdSense issue, except that AdSense now requires you to adhere to the Webmaster Guidelines, and there is some mention in that of duplicate content. Advise you look it up.

Why do u think there will be effort to put one website's ranking down?

I dont know if others have noticed this, but I have felt (whether true or not) that around the recession period, sites with Google ads are better promoted than their competitor, of course provided they already are good ranking site.

An existing adsense owner who is running a credible website opening up a new website should actually be good for google as well as users.

For example if a new company round the corner starts a new software, not many would notice and immediately approve. However suppose MS or Google starts something new, the acceptance will be much faster because there is a known brand.

Can you tell me why you think your ranking will affect?
