I think you will have to sign up again. Simply because it will be a new TOS that you will have to agree to. I could be wrong, but seems logical.

I would say contact Adsense Support, but you will only be sent an automated email pointing you to their help forum.

How long the process ? Best time for me was a few hours to get accepted, and at worse a few days. That was then, this is now.

Just wanted to update this: I did fill in the form on the 30th March, I find it odd that I didn't get a e-mail off them (auto e-mail).

On reading the page, because I'm going from Spain to the UK I don't have to close the account, I just fill in the form and the address gets changed over.

I persume after this I would login, accept some T&C's add in the bank and done.

All well and good but I'm now on just over a week later and nothing, no signs of being changed over and no e-mails from Adsense.

I've been searching around online and it seems there are 'a lot' of people having the same problem as me with changing countries so the question is, has anyone filled in a change of country form and actually have the country changed this year? :)

I recently moved from Australia to the UK. I tried to use the change of country form, but got an email back from google saying that I would have to close my adsense account and re-open a new one.

Before doing so I emailed them to confirm that none of my other google apps I use under same login would be affected (analytics, admanager, google affiliate network). I was told no, just close the account, nothing else would be affected. So I went ahead.

Admanager adsense backfill stopped working (there was no facility for updating the adsense partner code). I had to re-open and re-do the whole thing from scratch.

I cannot use analytics for tracking adsense any more, as it had been linked to the old adsense account and cannot be updated. I don't want to lose the historical data, so I'll have to put up with that one.

My Google affilate network account login stopped working. I had to apply for a new account, and then re-apply to the program I used (fortunately, I only use one). All links had to be updated. I couldn't get access to any of the old payment and invoice information, or stats.

The outstanding payments due on the accounts took 9 weeks to arrive, and could only be paid in to the existing bank account (not the new one in the UK).

The whole thing was a real waste of time for me.

Gibisan, how long did it actually take for you to get a responce from google after filling in the form?

Not too long, only a few days.

You should setup a new account and switch the code as soon as you are set.

They will not be able to switch the account as the currency is different.

We recently decided to bring our German language site, which was under a German company, under the UK company and so wanted to change the payee and bank. But they said could not due to currency.

I think if you were moving from Spain to Germany would be fine just uK is not in the Euro.

Thanks for the answers. As it happens I've already setup a ltd in the UK for when I move back in 2 weeks which is already up and running.

After reading the adsense pages 'again' it does say you can have 2 accounts providing that the name is not the same so I've gone down the route of applying for a new adsense account which is all under the limited business name.

It does mean that if/when approved for adsense I will have to re-setup all channels and adsense on my sites which is going to be a pain in the a$$ but looks like thats the only way to get anything done within this year!
