Payment for some Brazilian Google AdSense editors won't happen this month. In an official note on its online support forum, Google said that "some editors won't be paid in February" due to a "processing problem". The company did not give any further detail about the problem, neither if it will be working to make the payment happen before the next payment cycle.
The question raised by some editors is that Google is in total breach of its Terms of Service (TOS) which states that payment should be done in 30 days after the ads were displayed. In this case, the suspended payment is relative to advertisemente displayed in january, 2010, which thus should be paid by the end of february. Juldging by the replies on the Google forum, many editors were affected and seemed greatly worried about the problem. The main complaints are the lack of clear communication from Google, the aparent lack of importance the company is giving to the issue, which affects so profoundly its advertisement partners, and that Google is famous for punishing hard the editors that break the TOS, but it's showing off so lenient when carrying out their part of the deal.
