Adsense paid me double

I checked that I had ben paid the other day and thought did I really earn that much in December but didn't think any more about it.

Have just received an email from Google Ireland saying they paid me double and they will take the extra amount off the next payment - oh well!

At least they're letting you hang onto the money for the extra month instead of demanding you return it.

At least they didn't tell you that they would deduct it from the next payment, plus an additional 29.9% for interest.

Actually it was quite a pleasant email apologising for paying me double - am I the only one, or perhaps everyone else noticed the double payment and sent it back.

I am not sure if it was double payment or not but I remember they messed up doing a currency conversion and either everyone got way less or way more than they should have... it took a while to straighten out.

Didn't they send out two duplicate checks to all Canadian publishers last summer?

I got a 2x payment for December also. Basically that means I'm not getting paid this month (or it will be very little).

I got a double payment too for December, but I wasn't going to say anything in the hope that it passed through the system. No such luck. At least I now have the next month's payment even before I earned it.
