Is it all my otimization work from the last weeks, or a general change?

Already 36% better than the second best day of December.

Searching back a better day in history,
I have to look back until December 2008

Too early to say what/why it happened. Time will tell.

Adsense earnings started climbing Sat 26th, yesterday was a very good day as well. Today is looking very good already... Lets hope this trend continues. I want to start going back up the roller coaster!

Yea, I'm seeing the same, mentioned in another item. Seeing a lot of new, good, local advertisers in the spots.

Although it will no doubt get me into even more trouble with my fellow AdWords forum users, I wonder if some of the recent advertiser purges have resulted in some of the crap really being pushed out.

Today is our best day ever. We passed another milestone ourselves - still about 5 hours left for the day. Glad to see some other webmasters are enjoying an increase too.

What factors matter most for EPC/Earnings? I saw no much click despite a lot of content. There is some thing wrong...seems.

Wow, today is my best day ever too. Not sure what's happening.... maybe advertisers are trying to use up their budget by the end of the month/year?

Whatever the reason, I'll take it! BTW, Q4 is always strongest in my niche.

I looked back at 2008 stats and Dec 28 was my highest day last year too.... coincidence?

Don't forget two other factors... the weather and the day xmas fell on this year.

Good days here too... :-)

Most likely because of post-xmas-sales + advertizers flushing their quarter/yearly ad-funds before 2010.

Best day since the first week of December, traffic completely back to normal and all metrics looking good. My month is way over my guesstimate, in fact, nearly a minimum standard month which I find incredible in comparison to previous years.

I love reading similar experiences when everything falls to #*$!. But I hate reading similar stories when all begins to recover. Because it means it's nothing to do with my efforts but just another wave in the machine.

My earnings are up about 60% atm. Very good days indeed. Probably just lost stats from the last couple of weeks catch up. My CTR has doubled in some cases and the CPC has increased too.

Big ole blah.

We had a killer day yesterday too. Best traffic of all time, and best earnings of all time. Very weird. Did better than black Monday, which historically has been our best day.

Guess there are a lot of folks back to work just surfing the web this week... ;-)

My best day in about 2 months was Dec. 26. 27th and 28th rank 2nd and 3rd highest for December, and 29th looking to match those. Traffic WAY UP on dec. 27 & 28, ~ 35% over average. Don't exactly know why, though some of my recent new pages have to do with current and coming sporting events, which would explain part of it.

As for the revenue increase, I attribute it to Google doing something, though, as usual, we'll never know just what that is. Whatever it is, let's hope we see more of the same and better in 2010.

BTW: My analysis says 2010 will be a solid year for stocks and the US economy. We're easily back from the brink and the funny money should keep the wheels turning somewhat smoothly. Boom times just ahead, 3rd, 4th quarters of 2010 should be awesome.

I agree they did some very good, I am back to Sept Earnings which were very nice.

If my earning today keep up will hit new record. Cant wait till everyone get back to work next week!

The 29th was my best day in 3 months. Nice, especially, the eCPM. Extraordinarily high.

It seems odd that every one of us is having good days. I hope stays like that, it reminds me the days I used to make money with AS.

It's a stable trend

Since including Friday December 25th

Every day above December average at

Clicks (even with the low traffic of the holidays)
CTR
eCPM

we are large publishers and have very predictable earnings... we also see a positive inflection in cpm and ctr that began in the early-to-mid december timeframe.

the gains are over 20% - can only hope this continues.

there were no comparable upticks in previous years so i doubt this is a seasonal thing.

Looks good to me, about 25% up on the same time last year.

But not all are seeing increases, there are a couple of threads out there complaining that this is the worst few days ever.

As usual, some are up and some are down. So, Realmaverick can confidently assume that the increase is a reward for effort. That's what I'm doing.

Compared with December 1st to 24th,
25% up for the last week.

Seems it's a stable trend up
