Money is NOT getting back for me :( I was expecting a 'great' start for the day and ctr is down by 40%, the eCPM is down by 30%... this hurts :D

This is what I'm seeing too. eCPM too high right now.

Just back from a short holiday and found December 9 - 12 totally in the toilet. Today's is reasonable but still below average. Picked a good time to go on holiday me thinks. Would have been tough seeing those figures for days... sigh...

That's what I'm putting it down to, even our local bars and restaurants have been unusually quiet the past few days...maybe many are bracing and pacing themselves for Xmas?

Having written that, I drove passed the local UK's #1 supermarket and it was heaving and also, interestingly, so have been our local farmers' markets.

The last few days have been awful for me. Click through has dropped by more than half. I wonder if this could be a result of personalized search? Perhaps the ads being shown are not of interest to my site's visitors. If the wife and kids have been using the computer, there's a possibility the ads people are seeing aren't targeted at all.

Impressions are steady, as is site traffic. When I view my site the ads seem about the same as always, but I know that isn't representative of what others see any longer.

My clicks have almost completely stopped today, after 25% of a Googleday I've had 5% of my usual clicks...well and truly borken...or should that be broken? :-)

Almost same here ... about -40% so far.

Traffic wise yesterday was huge.

Today CTR is 1/3 of what it was on Saturday. Sorry Google but you're up to something and I really don't like it.

In 6 months my CTR on my main channel has gone from 3% to today's all time low of 0.3%

I don't give a hoot what google or ASA or my adsense account strategist says, this isn't related to seasons, visitor trending or anything of the kind.

CPC and overall earnings being down is all well but CTR suddenly plummeting is just BS.

Sort it out Google I'm seriously peed off with your persistant medling.

Today vs the past month:

Page Impressions: normal
CTR: 35% down
CPM: 50% down

This seems to happen every 2 -3 weeks for a day, then it comes back to normal - hopefully it is back to normal tomorrow...

Gorg is the ultimate money machine, if there profits start to go down why not just pinch a little bit from there publishers? How does there stock climbed when there is a recession going on?

All they have to do is trim a little off everyone, why would not they not do it?

They are messing with so much right now with the serps, personalized results, real time serp's. It seems to be slowing down there indexing, bandwith ect. So this very well could be hurting there income, so why not take a bit from there publishers?

Being they are so transparent with how they do things only gives way for a little speculation.

eCPM in the toilet - at low single digit figures the last few days. Regular advertisers seems to have gone missing. Ads still on target though. I wonder if they've been flushed out in the Adwords purge [webmasterworld.com].

I hope someday they're forced to be more transparent.

I find their ethics vile. But I need them, so have to take it on the chin.
