From my lows of May and June this year I have seen a steady month on month increase in EPC to the point where November's overall earnings were 40% higher.
My CTR has remained more or less the same however actual clicks are up almost 10%.
What do I put this down to?
1. I have actually stopped updating sites on even a weekly basis but have added some blogs which have added some 5% to overall earnings and these continue to increase every day.
2. I feel that the business cycle is turning much more positive. I supply specialised construction products internationally and whilst my B & M business has survived the recession extremely well there are many that have not, however saying that I have noticed this last couple of months a substantial increase in major project and domestic supply enquiries.
Could we be starting to crawl out of the huge mess that we were in? Possibly, I've always said that Spring 2010 would be the real telling point although a few more months of steady growth will definitely be welcomed to be sure things are improving.
To those who have seen a big recent downturn maybe you're just a few months behind my experience...no guarantees though.
Has anyone else seen a similar but steady improvement over the last few months?
My site deals with consumer products and services and just a few months ago, the most-visited pages had to do with foreclosures, bankruptcy and other somber topics. Over the last 60 days or so, pages dealing with appliances seem to have taken the lead -- which may indicate an uptick in consumer spending attitudes.
Also on the bright side, the collapse of the automotive market means we don't get as many complaints about poorly-made SUVs.

My November matched the last three months of last year despite having removed all of the obvious adsense from my pages in the middle of the month.
My feeling from the adwords forum is that Google is trying to improve the "quality" of advertisers and publishers. It's clear from the adwords forum that their algorithms get it wrong sometimes and I'd imagine that to be true for many publishers as well.
December 1st has been a really great day. In fact December 1 is about 30% higher than November 1st was, so I am hoping for a great December!
I can see nothing remarkable between the various months this year,
over the same months last year. This already is my best year ever, overall (over 6 years).
The "November thing" apparently did not work for me.
But, early on, December is looking VERY GOOD to come in at #1.
