Adsense font size problem

I use 728*90 ads on a site and as much as I try to set the font size to large (or even medium), wait a few days, see what happens, half the time the font size displayed is microscopic and barely readable. Obviously, the CTR is poor, at best.

Did I forget some secret hand shake? What's the point of offering font size options if it doesn't work?

Tested for Arial, 728x90 has bigger fonts when it shows 3 ads, which is not often, because it's a 4-ad format by default. It also behaves differently in Firefox and IE when showing 4 ads -- IE displaying slightly larger fonts.

I've been having a similar problem with my ads, although set by default I keep getting totally different font sizes in my adsense blocks (various ones).

I've noticed this morning my adsense earnings lower than normal and on checking some of the adsense displayed is really small font.

I have a feeling the flexibility of the font size has to do both with the size of the ad block and how many ads available at the time of the impression.

The number of ads per ad block is determined algorithmically. If we show more or fewer ads, it's because we think that number of ads and that combination of ads is likely to yield the highest revenue for you.

Change font size , clear cache and try in 10 minutes.
